For residents who are still uninformed, UBER has started offering its ridesharing services in Angeles City.
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan has welcomed and supported the entry of Uber in the highly-urbanized city.
“Residents and tourists currently have limited mobility options. Uber’s services will fill a gap and serve a clear public need,” the mayor said.

Founded in 2009, the ride-share app is currently available in more than 600 cities worldwide.
In the Philippines, Uber’s services are also available in Metro Manila, parts of Rizal, as well as Cebu.
Its offerings include uberX (affordable Uber), UberBlack (premium Uber), uberHOP (carpool service with fixed route during rush hour) and uberPOOL (carpool service).
Through its services, Uber seeks to offer the public another transport option to help solve traffic.
